University Assistant: Arts Management/Box Office
Coordinate and facilitate box office and front-of-house for shows and concerts; oversee student staff working in Arts Management, Box Office, and House Management; liaison between Theatre and Music Directors; computer literacy required to maintain electronic box office records and to create letters, flyers, programs, other PR; front-of-house experience preferred; schedule to include days and evenings; $12.50 per hour; 19 hours per week; 16 weeks per semester.

Assistant Technical Director
Duties include the supervision and building of scenery for Eastern Connecticut State University’s Performing Arts Department theatre productions. In addition to set construction the position includes additional responsibilities such as assisting and supervising others in all areas associated with the technical aspects of mounting a theatre production and managing a scene shop. These areas include but are not limited to: stage carpentry, theatrical lighting and sound work, stage property construction, scene painting, and the duties associated with being scene shop foreman.
19 Hours a week when school is in session, some other opportunities possible when school is not in session.
Contract renewal every semester.
This is a University Assistant Level 3 Position
Qualifications:
Experience in set construction required, knowledge of scene painting, scene shop management, lighting and sound production highly desired. Appointee must be available some weekends and possibly a few nights.
