Non-White Participants Needed for Research involving
Perceptions of Political Policies

The Department of Psychology at Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking non-White volunteers for a research study on perceptions of political policies.

What we would ask you to do:

The purpose of this study is to explore attitudes toward and perceptions of different political policies. You will complete a brief survey regarding your attitudes toward and perceptions of different policies, demographic information, and a brief computerized cognitive task. During the computerized task, you will see a series of words presented on the computer screen. You will be asked to use the computer keyboard to categorize the words as “good” (an example of a “good” word is “peace”) or “bad” (an example of a “bad” word is “repulsive”) as quickly as possible. You will also be asked to try to remember as many of the words that are presented as possible. Introductory Psychology students can receive either 2 credits for their course requirements OR $15. Other participants can be paid $15.

Participation will require approximately 1 hour of your time.

You will be paid $15 for your participation.

You do NOT need to be a student to participate in this Study.
